It looks adept so far. 1 thing, tough. Try to keep the legs a little bent at the knee at least. Even if y'all desire an upright stance, locking out the knees is a bad thing for the human trunk (says the fysiotherapist wife of mine) so I effigy that the Astartes would always accept a pocket-sized bend to avoid the locking out of the knees. Also, I think it looks kinda silly locked out. Expect at the infinite marines statue of gw equally an example. =)
Also - I honey that you are doing both weapon options now. Gonna be bang-up!

That's quite funny. I often have my legs totally direct. I'll have a look though. Maybe a slight bend in 1.

Do y'all take an mannequin doll? I have a small one that I utilise to pose in natural looking poses. If I can't figure it out with the doll, I'll make the pose myself and so curve the doll into shape based off that.
My fiancee makes fun of me sometimes because I pose with the mannequin in the bathroom mirror. My usual response is that she does the same thing, simply adds a duck face. Her response to that is winging something down the hallway at me. Ah... young love.

I don't have a mannequin but I do accept a long mirror. I did brand certain the anxiety are not completely parallel. That only happens in dance and martial arts and feels very unnatural.
I do need to extend the thighs at the back before doing the joints. May add some studs too.

This position, I feel, is ok. =) I like it, fifty-fifty though I don't think that I'd want to exercise legs that were straight. Virtually of my marines I imagine mid-battle, then it is quite hard to stard straight for whatever catamenia of time at all. I think he is gonna await the function, anyway!

This guy has such a distain for others that I can picture him just continuing infront of his chosen target as if they were no threat at all. Before killing them and taking their head.
Started the GS work now and so letting that cure so I can file the face plate to become dainty sharp edges. I'll be able to build the legs up likewise and endeavor a skull face.

As requested. The GS work in progress pics.
Night Lords green stuff: session one
Bones face shape built upwards and make full be filed to shape and to get a better edge.
The most fiddly chip so far. Just adding a little bit of GS to show how the skull stays on his armour.
Backs of the knees. I practice need to extend the upper leg plate downwards but have to wait till this first part is hardened.
And lastly...
Youngest kid woke from his nap and I didn't want to waste material a big lump of GS so on the base it went. I really need to mix less up at a fourth dimension.
Well...that's all I take at the moment. Call up I've worked out the left and correct arms but that'll probably change again. So long equally it's sorted by Jan 15th all will be skillful.
Cheers for stopping by. C&C always welcome. Nosotros'll have to raid the Fang at some point for ale and nibbles. Maybe the odd friendly rumble with the natives likewise

Night Lord HQ session ii
Managed to become a bit of time in this morning to add together some more GS.
Lets starting time from the superlative. Filed the face plate to a shape I was happier with and added some plasticard to give a slightly dissimilar shape. I did attempt to first a skull on information technology too but it just wouldn't do what I wanted then quit before the bin gained more filling.
The magnets arrived this morning time likewise (still waiting on the Bound Pack and a blade) so I had to try those too. And yes...I did brand the novice mistake of sticking i (the body ane) the wrong way round
The legs now need a bit of filing to smooth the GS but I'chiliad pretty happy with the knee joints. The hip withal I'1000 not. Information technology just didn't await right then the groin role has come off and will have a bit of reshaping to make information technology await less like a nappy and spreading the legs further than they should exist. I may end upward using the Chaos Marine pouches to cover some of the hip joints too. Tin can paint these to look like skin (yup...more flayed skin on my minis).
I think I've sussed the weapon options too
The left arm volition accept the shoulder glued in place and magnetized at the upper arm with the following options:
- Pointing lightning claw (if I tin can reposition three of the fingers that is)
- Combi-melta
- Power fist
- Plasma pistol (though I may not bother with this option)
Right arm will be magnetized at the usual shoulder joint with these options:
- Paragon blade (with a more than Mk4 style pad)
- Nostroman chainglave (studded Mk4 pad)
- Lightning claw (with a rimmed Chaos shoulder pad but with points removed. Perchance studded)
- Burning Make of Skalathrax (with a rimmed Anarchy pad in all information technology's celebrity)
Last flake of fun I've had is selecting this little size 0 beauty
Has a lovely signal and this'll exist my care for for actually completing a unit of measurement for once.
And so, thank you for working through my ramblings and thank you to those also posting their own threads. Inspiration comes from everywhere.
Till next fourth dimension

I call up the hemlet looks not bad. Painting the skull on there seems much more NL-ish then having an actual skull there. With the legs I recall you need to brand the hip joint thicker. Correct now he has a very very wide spread and superthin upper legs, imo. I would place the leg a bit more than "under" the groin office, similar you said yourself, and and so try to beef the hip joint upwards a scrap to brand it more than realistic.
That's what I call up, anyway, merely practice what yous desire and go along going. You are an inspiration to the rest of u.s.a. =)

Time for an update...
At present I can see it coming together I'yard having to endeavour not to blitz the parts which still need work so earlier I can start painting him. No thing how much I want to run across information technology in colour.
Body front and back.
Enough of extra pouches and a couple of trophies to effort and blend the hip joints a fleck. Had to fix one of the foot arches too as it only looked wrong.
Other parts:
And there'south nearly of the other parts needing work also.
- Lightning Claws - Just demand magnets. Don't feel up to repositioning the fingers to make one pointing.
- Combi-melta - I have added a little piece as the bottom of the grip but that was after taking the pic. Magnet needed.
- Chainglave - Recall this needs a few rivets on the white role.
- Paragon Blade - Tempted to try and change the fly office to look bat similar and need to test fit the arm with the right arms in place to see if it needs a full position change.
- Called-for Brand - I may well exist stealing an idea from Disease's 'Disciples of Nurgleth' thread here
- Shoulder pad (on blu tac) - Studs added. This volition be on the Chainglave arm.
- Right handed power fist - Erm...yeah...not found one I like so may just exit him without one. And it would accept to be on the right because of the Combi-melta.
The 3 backpacks and head (just the 1 for a change) are all gear up for spraying.
I'll sign off there. Thoughts, C&C, chocolate or a costless squad of Dark Raptors are all welcome. Warhound titan if you really must.
Thanks for you're valuable hobby fourth dimension equally e'er and lookout this space
