Silverleaf

The vintage dining room sideboard in magazine editor Zim Loy's Kansas City, Missouri, house was a DIY project. She painted it white and silver-leafed the top. "Silver leaf is simple," she says, "It comes in little sheets that you apply to a glued surface. There's not a whole lot more to it than that."
